Initially, Melody was based on composing and recording music to artists and bands. Many song have been written over the years and several were made popular by well-known Swedish artist and hit the charts in Sweden and Scandinavia. The studio has allways been a meeting place for songwriters and producers and a base for recording artists. Gradually, there was a need for a music publishing company and a record label, today Melody is both.

The recording, writing and producing are today more busy than ever. Everything from Country, Blues, Bluegrass, Jazz, Choir, Punk, Ethnic, Folkmusic, Rock is and has been recorded in the studio.
